As you may or may not be aware, the Ski industry in Ontario has faced a huge uphill battle over the past couple of years. First with COVID in 2020 and then Ontario Government closures in 2021. Now our local hill has been hit with another blow.
On January 3rd Calabogie Peaks suffered a terrible fire that destroyed their pumphouse which is crucial for them to make snow. As you are well aware, the weather for this season has been unpredictable to say the least and making snow is a big part of how the Peaks provides such great terrain. In this small community they are vital to the economy bringing in countless tourists and outdoor enthusiasts to the town and surrounding businesses.
As part of the community, Calabogie Brewing is compelled to lend a hand. We are asking you to help support 'Let It Snow! For Calabogie Peaks. With every case sold online we will donate $5.00 the Peaks' snowmaking restoration. Donations can also be made at each of our taprooms and via our online store.
