The long way felt right.
Some places are better when you don’t rush to get there.
The road into Calabogie has always had that feeling. Trees leaning in. Lakes flashing through the windows. A familiar turn you almost miss. A stop you didn’t plan, but somehow needed. Around here, the best moments tend to happen when you slow down, look around, and let the day take its time.
That idea is at the heart of our refreshed brand identity.
Welcome to the new Calabogie Brewing Co.
Same rural roots. New look.
Our new look is inspired by the place we call home: rural Ontario, cottage-country weekends, park signs, trail maps, lakeside stops, campfire stories, and porch beers at the end of a good day.
You’ll notice warmer colours, bolder cans, hand-drawn details, and a few new signs along the way. Our refreshed wordmark, badge, and pennant were designed to feel like something you’d find on an old campsite sticker, a roadside sign, a trail marker, or a well-loved souvenir from a weekend away.
It’s familiar, a little nostalgic, and proudly unhurried.
In other words: very Calabogie.
Why “Take the Rural Route”?
Because the fastest way isn’t always the best one.
Take the Rural Route is more than a tagline. It’s an invitation to choose the slower road, the scenic stop, the extra night at the cottage, the afternoon on the porch, the walk through the woods, the beer after the hike, and the plans that leave room for detours.
It’s about making time for the things that feel real.
Good beer. Good people. Good stops along the way.
What’s changing?
Our identity is changing. Our website is changing. Our cans are changing.
You’ll start to see the refreshed Calabogie look roll out across our packaging, taprooms, merch, website, social channels, and wherever you might find us.
Front Porch, our easygoing Kölsch-style ale, leads the way in the new system. The beer you know is still here. It just has a new view.
What’s staying the same?
The things that matter most.
We’re still brewing beer made for cottage weekends, taproom visits, post-trail pints, lake days, long lunches, and slow afternoons with nowhere better to be.
We’re still rooted in Calabogie.
We’re still here for the people who know that sometimes the best part of the trip is the journey in.
Come see what’s new.
Our new website is live, and the refreshed cans will continue rolling out from here.
Take a look around, plan your next stop, and keep an eye out for the new Calabogie Brewing Co. wherever you pick up your beer.
The rural route is officially open.
